The Honda Civic sedan has a mask with a tall trapezoidal center opened secondary scoop-like openings or side.A grid-like insert in the opening center contrasts with a cyclone-type fence on the side balls.

Save for a lower body character line, the sides of the Civic is more than fun sensuous.Understated fender blisters break up the otherwise featureless area.

The rear spoiler wraps over the edge outboard of the trunk of the sedan; On the coupe, spoiler free standing. Both sedan and coupe roll on its own, unique alloy wheels them.

The Hybrid is understated, with only a small sign Hybrid under the right rear taillight. Our least favorite feature is the pseudo-aero wheels, which look like they were cut from pizza pans.

We find the Civic LX sedan the most comfortable model. The DX edges more towards spartan inside, while the EX head to lush.Fit and finish meets the standards of Honda.

Tiny front quarter windows on the sedan, necessary to allow the front door windows to roll all the way down, press the side rear view mirrors a bit too backward for quick and easy glances at neighboring lanes.

Cars share triaktino handlebars coupe (with radii of 3, 6 and nine positions), which matches the spacey domestic issue as well.

The navigation system includes Civic Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, a wireless telephone interface that works with Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones to operate hands-free, through the steering wheel.

Honda Civic 2010 Review: Why Consumers Love This Car

The 2010 Honda Civic returns virtually unchanged from 2009, continuing the sedan and coupe body style again offer gas-electric hybrid model.

Select a stretcher over a coupe for the best mix of cabin space and ride quality. And go for the Honda Civic 2010 LX trim level (one step from the base DX) for the best price on the line citizenship.

Top-line Honda Civic EX-L versions start around $ 22,000, money spent on better broader Honda Accord. Sport Honda Civic Si models top $ 22,000, too - but they're worth it.

The 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid coaxes you effectively together to achieve the best balance between performance and economy.

The engine start-stop feature is quiet. Young is in love with the Civic SI for large engine power and amazing acceleration, but less impressed with poor fuel economy.

All Civic sedans and coupes (except SI) have 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 140 horsepower.

The EPA rates the 2010 Honda Civic with the 1.8-liter engine, as an average fuel economy around 25 mpg city and 36 mpg on the highway.

The road fuel economy is very impressive and puts the Civic behind only the Smart ForTwo and the Civic Hybrid for the best in class fuel economy.

Unfortunately, the Civic SI is wavering a bit on fuel economy in exchange for extra power. Consider delaying your purchase until the dealers are anxious to negotiate for the outgoing Civic to make room for the 2011s.

These are evident in Honda Civic 2010 and will include a slightly stronger definition of the grille and lower bumper.

Breezy style, giving the 2010 Honda Civic totally laid-back roof pillars in front.

Although not the largest contingent in the classroom, not solid competitor has a longer wheelbase than the Honda Civic four-door sedan.

Do not wait for the Civic to change much in size, when the new model makes its debut as a model for 2011. What is the ninth generation Civic will look like, however, is Honda's well-guarded secret.

Engineering: All Civics have the front wheels and is well served by a functioning four-cylinder engines.

Propulsion system composition segues in 2010 remains intact, although some reports suggest Honda could mark the end of this planning cycle Civic model to call a super-high performance, sometime before the arrival 2011s.

Meanwhile, a 140-horsepower 1.8-liter engine is responsible for three main models Civic: DX basis, the volume model LX, EX and upscale. The Honda Civic Hybrid comes as a sedan only combines a 1.3-liter gas engine with an electric motor for a total of 110 horses.

The motor can push the Civic Hybrid for very short distances on battery power alone, but rather serves as help to the engine.

The Hybrid uses a continuously variable transmission or CVT.

The Civic GX sedan has a 113-horspower 1.8-liter powered by natural gas.
